Welcome to City of Angels Medical Center – Ingleside Campus. We are located in the city of Rosemead just minutes from downtown Los Angeles. We are one of the oldest licensed psychiatric hospitals in California. The hospital was founded by a social worker named Ms. Jean McCraken in 1918. Today, Ingleside is a 70-bed acute psychiatric hospital and full service metal health center. The campus sits on five beautifully landscaped acres nestled at the foot of the San Gabriel mountains. Ingleside's peaceful and serene grounds provide an optimal setting for treatment. The campus affords extensive opportunities for therapeutic outdoor activities.
Ingleside's dedicated professional staff strives to provide the highest quality of psychiatric care. Treatment plans are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Family members and significant others are encouraged to participate in the program. The goal of the program is to stabilize the acute symptoms and return patients to their community as quickly as possible.
